Toronto man arrested for defamatory web posts


A Toronto man has been arrested in a criminal harassment investigation for several defamatory posts on websites.

Toronto police say the investigation was in the Ralston Ave. and O’Connor Dr. area.

They allege a man posted defamatory posts which targeted multiple victims from August 2020 to March 2021.

He allegedly also sent threatening texts.

On Wednesday, police arrested Pasqualino ‘Pat’ Mazza, 31, of Toronto and charged him with three counts of criminal harassment and six counts of uttering threats.

He is scheduled to appear in court on May 5.
