Halton police make arrest in alleged Milton carjacking

Police have made an arrest in connection with a string of incidents.

On Feb. 26, at roughly 9:15 p.m., officers arrested a man outside his Brampton residence. The man is suspected to be one of two people involved in a number of alleged crimes around Milton on Feb. 21. An incident in the Kennedy Circle plaza on Feb. 21 was captured on video.

Shawn Moore, 38, of Brampton has been charged with robbery, three counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, mischief under $5,000 and theft under $5,000. The charges have not been proven in court.

He has been held in custody and is awaiting a bail hearing.

Investigators are still actively seeking the arrest of a second suspect — Gary Walker — in connection with the alleged incidents. Police say that if you see Walker, do not approach. Instead, call police immediately.
