Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre has announced the Conservatives will force a House of Commons vote on whether Katie Telford – Chief of Staff to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau – will testify on what the PMO knew about China’s election interference in Canada’s democratic institutions and when they knew it. The move comes as the Liberals continued to filibuster at the Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs to prevent a vote that could have compelled Telford’s testimony.
“Conservatives will force a House vote to have the Ethics Committee end the Liberal filibuster and force Trudeau’s chief advisor to testify about Beijing’s interference in Canada. Will the NDP, which will have the deciding vote, help Trudeau cover up the truth again?”
